While none of the clubs appeared to win w1th ease, West Brom’s
aggression brought forth Shane Long’s 10th-minute power header. Chelsea’s Eden
Hazard found the back of the net six minutes before half time.
West Brom gained the lead when Peter
Odemwingie headed another goal for the Baggies on the 50th minute. While Victor
Moses and Daniel Sturridge attempted to threaten the home side, neither of
their efforts became successful.
