THE LATEST SPORTS NEWS – England manager Roy Hodgson
expressed his optimism that new talents Raheem Sterling and Wilfried Zaha have
the potential to lead England to win w1th ease in the 2014 World Cup.
Sterling, from Liverpool, and Zaha,
from Crystal Palace, has earned their first national caps against Sweden, to
which they lost 4-2 with all opposition goals coming from star striker Zlatan
Ibrahimovic.
Hodgson said that his England side
is getting better, pointing to Danny Welbeck, Jack Wilshere and Alex
Oxlade-Chamberlain as successful examples of players that have improved within
his side.
